The Previous, 'whats going on post', wasn't entirely accurate.
What's really going on is...
Meal time.
Bath time.
Joyschool time.
Nap time.
Chore time.
Meal Time.
Netflix time.
in between each of these activities, the Momma blogs/facebooks/looks up bands and music/random internet.
Honestly, I spend a lot of time on the computer.
[even as I type this I'm feeling guilty and trying to go as fast as I can.]
yes, this week, we did ride bikes and eat cupcakes and do other fun things, but I want/need to do more.
On Wednesday, Matix took a spill.
this is the whole story...
Im sitting on the floor, doing something random on the computer.
I was just about to start an art project with Matix, I swear...
but before doing that, I think I was looking at Nephew Jett pics on facebook and Max ran over and asked, "WHO's That?"
He tripped over my leg and landed face first on the Yellow Hutch.
He had a giant hole in his lip and I knew it was going to need stitches.
So,
We loaded up and headed to the Instacare and hung out for a few hours.
and strangely enough,
It was a lot of FUN!

we played games, and read stories,
made glove balloons, sang songs and talked.
We were in this little room with no distractions.
Nothing to clean up.
no computer or tv.
no music.
no books.
no guitar.
just us.

My Matix is a pretty cool little person.
and now He's got 2 stitches on his cute big bottom lip.

I've not yet had the privilege of stitches in this household but I feel like with three boys it is inevitable. Your guy was super brave and awesome.
Atticus won't even sit in the chair at the dentist just so the dentist can LOOK at his teeth (no cavities so no pain involved). So hopefully when the time for stitches comes, it's not him.
You're a good mom and you love your kids. It shows.
Poor guy! I'm glad you're the type of person that could make it fun! P.S. I too am feeling guilty about my computer time especially when it could be Rob time or school time...Rob is on the phone right now so I don't feel too guilty.
Oh my gosh, Matix looks SO much like you in that pic of him in his car seat. What a tough (and very cute) little Matix!
I'm trying to spend less time on the computer, too. Having a few friends with a LOT of drama is the key to motivate me to turn OFF my computer. lol Most of my friends lift me up and inspire me, but when I'm on facebook reading posts about someone's baby daddy who's on drugs again or someone who is ALWAYS whiney and complaining, it depresses me and makes me want to close my lap top and go make (and eat) cookie dough with my munchkins instead. hehe
your mom told me about his little accident! :( i feel so bad! he looks like he was a brave boy!
Just wanted to let you know that I think the world of:
1) you.
2) your blog.
3) your boys {husband+kiddos}.
4) your style.
5) your music.
6) the love you have for beauty.
just fyi.
