Two summers ago my Mom and I trained for a mini-triathlon. I was tougher than I had ever been. Last summer I was pregnant and I was as big as a house. I was not one of those- gain 25 lbs and leave the hospital in a size 6 - mommas. I have lost 25 lbs but whoops...I have another 25 to lose...Holy Moly I gained 50 big ones!
I am really loving biggest loser right now and it really helps with motivation but I'm not gonna win $100,000. So I was talking with Kate and we decided what would really motivate us would be to work out and eat right for 10 weeks and by April 1st we are posting our weight for all of our friends and family and digital world to know (not that you all really care) but still, it's motivation. Jon and I are planning on another triathlon this summer and I'm excited. If anyone else wants in on our little weight-loss humiliation please join. It could be really funny...

Way to go girl! I just did a 1/2 marathon 3 days ago and it totally got me back into shape. It was so hard but worth it! Good luck! I can't wait to see! :) Your family is so cute!

Well I have to admit it makes me feel a little better to know that I'm not the only one... I have 8 days left and if I gain another pound I'll be at 50 too. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have anything to be real proud of myself for come april 1st. but maybe by like, next april 1st???

Anyway you go girl! I'm excited to see!

Ok so I love the biggest loser... I have some friends here that are totally motivating me to lose that baby fat... SO far I have lost almost 10 lbs... I gained like 60 with brok, lost 30 right when he was born then another within a few weeks but there's always room for improvement!!! I'll help you too, if you help me!!!

Forget the doctor's recommended weight gain of 25-30 lbs...50 lbs is more realistic. I couldn't get food (junk food that is) out of my mind when I was pregnant with Sid.

It is amazing how skinny you feel right after giving birth because you can see parts of your body that have been missing for months. Then you get on the scale and realize you have a long way to go.

I think your ideas for losing your pregnancy weight are awesome. I have 50 pounds to lose as well...and that will only get me to my pre-pregnancy weight. Then there is the additional unwanted pounds beyond that....I don't even want to do the math.

Good luck on your endeavor.
