My songs

To the left I have posted two of my newest songs. I wrote Beautiful Blues for my amazing cousin Brittany. This past June her little boy passed away in a tragic accident. Daxton was a sweet, incredibly handsome, and lovable baby who had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen.

I know Brit and Daxton will be together again someday, and Beautiful Blues is my Testimony of that.

Heartsong is a song I started almost four years ago, and I finished it this month. It is for Jon. I have never been good at love songs. They always end up being incredibly cheesy and I didn't want Jon's song to be too silly. So it took me years but I finally did it. and its still pretty cheesy but How else can I say it, JON- you make my heart sing!

Please Bare with the recordings. I recorded them during Max's nap time on a little digi-recorder Jonno got me for my birthday. I love it. It is a fun lil'gizmo but I really don't know how to use it yet.
I'd love some feedback on the tunes. I will be sending in my mini-demo to Kurt and a few others who have told me they had interest. and I will be posting some old Derringer-2 songs soon. but it depends on how long Max'll snooze.

Lyndy Lou... You are amazing! Jon is such a lucky guy to have such a talented loving wife! the song that you wrote for him does not seem too cheesie to me. it is totally you and I like it. I wish that I could show you how awesome you are. Seriously my lovely cousin, Heavenly Father has given you such a talent... I am so greatful that you share it with me! I love the "meat market" song and we need to get a better copy of the song your momma wrote for my dad. Keep going, I'm routing for you! Love you

Lyndy Lou, completely loved it and love you girl! In such a crazy mixed up world, more people need to hear Beatiful Blues and other songs I know you'll write in the future like it about our Father's amazing plan for us and just His love for us. THANK YOU for sharing!

Listening to these songs reminded me of our fun days in high school, singing around the piano before and after Madrigals. I have always loved listening to you sing, Lyndy! Then I thought about how we're not in high school anymore and how you've become this amazingly beautiful and classy woman. Your music has such depth to it because YOU have such maturity and depth as a person. I know teaching preschool and playing around with Matix may make you feel like you're just a big kid sometimes posing as a mother ;) because I feel like that sometimes. But I can see how you've grown as a person and how Jon has been a part of that. Simply beautiful!

K, I got all teary eyed and not because of your songs (although they're beautiful) but because it made me miss your little singing voice so much! I want to see you in person. Live-y in concert!

Lyndy, you really are incredible. You have such a gift for both composing and singing and I'm so glad you shared both of the songs! I cannot wait to hear more. You are beautiful, inside and out.

This is Emily's mom....technically you are my cous. Anyway, did you remember that Em lost her brother 6 years ago and I lost my son...he had the most gorgeous blue eyes...blue as the ocean...deep blue. When Em brought me this song to hear I cried and cried....it fits my situation exactly as well. My heart aches for Daxton's mom....I know the shoes she is walking in. I want a copy of the song...Em said I can buy it on Itunes. You are very talented and I am so proud of you!
