The Talent Sprouts singing the National Anthem at the Dixie State Basketball Game. They were awesome!
So My Latest Post was called Faitha, Faitha, Faith.
And it contained religious reverie and contemplation.
I don't often include spiritual matters on the blog because I don't want to come off preachy or prideful.
I decided to post it anyway because it is apart of me and the blog is a therapeutic representation of me and my little life.
I don't often include political matters on the blog because I don't want to come off ignorant or argumentative.
I have my opinions and I think that is enough. But here I go anyway...
A few years ago my little brother Kyle wrote an amazing song called Freedom.
I borrowed a few lines from Senator Orin Hatch and put together the lyrics.
it goes like this...
Where does the love of Freedom begin?
When does the love of Liberty start?
From the cradle to the grave we've been taught to love this land.
Land of the free, home of the brave, United we stand.
Stand and face the flag with your hand on your heart.
But when and where does it start?
Economic Recession, A war in question
This new generation must still be one nation.
Under God, Over Seas, IN our hearts
We Must Believe
That Liberty,
Lies in You and Me.
I feel as though America is looking for a Saving Grace.
We seem to be asking the government to fix the mess we've gotten ourselves into.
But its not up to our government.
It is up to us.
America is Strong and America is Beautiful because We are America.
I own a sweet little business with my dear Sister. We have felt the economic turn and have watched families move away because of unemployment in our town. These Families are doing all they can do to make the most of their situations. That is true strength. I love America. I love the opportunities that have been given to me because of this great nation.
