Daddy's skinny boy...

Max loves his Dad.
They are Best Friends.
The past few days Matix hasn't been feeling well.
He acts happy and plays but won't eat.
He is getting so skinny.
at his 18 mo. Doc App. The Doctor told me to put him on a High Calorie Diet.
It has been very difficult. He loves Fruits and Veggies. and will pass on everything else.
Lately Jon has been making us yummy homemade Pizza and Calzones.
Its Fantastic!
Today I made, Double BUTTer Cookies.
They are peanut butter/butterscotch/chocolate.
I hope Max will eat some.
I hope I won't eat too many. Its hard keeping the baby-weight to a minimum when I am constantly feeding my kiddo HIghcalorie snacks. This week Max goes in for his 2 yr app. and I go in for my 7 mo. I hope he has gained something and I hope I haven't gained too much...

argh. I had to do that with Eva, too. Did he tell you to add Carnation Instant Breakfast to his milk? That's not hard to do since she loves chocolate milk. Western Fam makes it too...

Kudos to a kid that likes veggies. That's a good early life habit to gain.

That would be so hard to have him not wanting to eat... because you can't force-feed him. And the parental reprimands at the pediatrician are the worst.

(My advice - because Frankie was a tiny baby, didn't gain a ton of weight, and I spent a lot of time being stressed about it: Trust your gut. If you're worried that he's not getting enough then do whatever you need to. But if you feel like he's healthy and okay: nod your head and smile at the pediatrician's, then continue onward at home. I think kids sometimes spurt and grow in their own individual way, not necessarily by the "charts.")

Sorry, hope that made sense. Good luck not eating the cookies, I would!
