A Baby Rocko Story

After15 hrs.
7 lbs 15 oz 20 in. of good lookin' came into the world!
Eddie Rockwell Butler
Last Night around 7. Great contractions working hard evey 2 minutes.
I was admitted at 8. and let the contractions do their thing.
About an hour later I was at a 5 and feeling lots of back labor.
I decided to get the epidural. I got it early with Max and things progressed well. This was not the case with this guy.
It took another hour to get to a 6...and then we stayed there for the rest of the night. Doc Ott said once I was a 7+ hed break my water...well that didnt happen for another 5 hours. It was a long night. IT turned out the my cervix was tilted and so was baby. When the Doc got back to the Hospital around 6 this morning he got out the ultrasound to see what was up...and baby was up! and way to the left.
Well, He broke my water. and nothing progressed.
Nurse Suzanne upped the pitocin and sat me in a funky position to get Rocko to Roll...
4 more hours and then we got to push.
Nurse Handsome Rob and Daddy Jonno
each held a leg. The hospital has a new rule during swine season. {Only 2 visitors allowed...the entire time you are here. Jon counted as visitor #1 and then with a whole load of loved ones that live in this town and that we would want to visit, we decided to keep it just the 2 of us.}
3 sets of contractions and baby ROLLED on Out.It felt so amazing. He really is a rock-n-Rolla!
Now we are a family of 4! But this 1

and this 1

are sleepy.
Lots of love and we'll see you soon!

{Characters portrayed in this story were based on true characters who shared the same names and resemblances.}

* Baby Frankenstien:
Jon and I wanted to name baby Rocko after my Dad. Franklin is his middle name. We were going to go with Frankie but after hanging out with this lil guy we think he looks a lot like his Grandpa Rogers and thought the name Eddie suited him better. We got a little Eddie Munster this Halloween!

Love the post. What a cutie pie! Sorry to hear it took so long. I was in the hospital last night with labor too, but alas...they sent me home for the third time. Why do some girls get all the luck?
