Every morning, Max wakes up and comes to our room to get me to play tracks.
I spend about 20 minutes building a little track, and pushing around a train and then listening to Max jab about how great Percy and Toby and Thomas are.
Then while I feed Rocko, I watch Max destroy and rebuild the tracks and chugga-chug and toot-toot all over his room.
Around 12:30 Max gets to watch a half hour of Thomas and Drink his Chocolate milk.
Then we turn off the show and I sing the Thomas song a million times for him as he falls asleep and begins his magical journey to the Island of Sodor in his dreams.
Now I have always been Anti-Thomas.
I dont even have a reason why...HE just bugged me.
But my lil' guy loves him so so much.

{Harveys my Fave, Im a sucker for the chubby Chin!}
We are about to dive into the joys of Potty Training.
Max has done pretty good at telling me when he needs to go, and we take off the dipe and go sit on the potty. Sometimes its a success other times we sit there and Max Jabs to me some more about how he should get a "Canny" for being such a good boy.
Last weekend Jon brought home Thomas the Train Big Boy underpants.
and the past two days we've been talking about how we can't poop on Thomas.
Max gets very serious and says, "No Poop on Thomas."
Tomorrow is the big day.
No more DIpes in the day time.
Wish me luck!
I'm lovin' these two.

Good luck!!!
We did the same thing with Kodi and Dora :)
I tried that with Layla and Elmo.
she did really good at not pooping on Elmo.
But she peed on every pair we bought in one day, then cried when she had to wear a diaper again.
Good Luck, Betchya max can do it
love the new blog look.
good luck with potty training!
I love it! Kids eat that stuff right up huh! It was fun seeing you guys last night. Rocko is adorable.
They're two they're four they're six they're eight, shunting trucks and hauling freight. Red and green and brown and blue. They're a really useful crew. All with different roles to play, round tidmouth sheds or far away. Down the hills and round the bend, Thomas and his friends!
And that's all I have to say about that! Dax LOVES it!
Trey is crazy for Thomas as well! The movies kill me and I have no idea what is so great about it! Having a sticker chart (nothing too fancy a piece of white paper and star stickers) worked awesome with Trey and potty training along with an m&m here and there :) Good Luck!
My nephews loved Thomas. I confess Frankie hasn't really been exposed to it that much. I think all little boys like trains, cars, and tractors. (Add jeeps to that lately for Frankie.) It's so cool.
You are brave to start potty training with a newborn in tow. It fried my patience to no end those first few days. But he sounds interested, so hopefully it will be cake. Good luck!
Good luck! Potty training is trying but worth it for sure. Kenzie has only mastered going poop in the toilet once...it was joyous. But let me tell you, she has never been as sad as she was when the princess panties had to be thrown away. Now we stick to pull ups at nap time since thats when she prefers to do her #2's. At least we have to potty part down, and I feel good about that because it happens more frequently.
