"I'm Thankful For" Week - Day 3

I'm Thankful For Sisterhood.

My One and Only
When I was 7.5 years old. I got a lil sister.
She was beautiful from day 1.
Her head was covered in black hair and her cheeks were squishy and perfect.
My Mom always knew we were going to have a Lacey.
I'm so glad.

When I was in High school, Lacey was just starting elementary school.
I thought she was so cool.
She had the cutest lil glasses and kept a cute lil journal like Harriet the Spy.
We often shared a bedroom but were in totally different worlds.
We would go to the movies and to Lunch. Once she came to a school dance with me.
She was never an annoying lil sister, she was my friend.

She still is one of my Best Friends. Even though it feels we are still in completely different worlds. She is in college having fun and I am a stay at home momma.
I want her to know that I think she is the bees knees. Seriously, she is so beautiful, humble, hilarious, kindhearted, spiritually in tune, and has some pretty awesome things in store for her. I Love you Lacey! I am so Thankful Heavenly Father let me be your older sister.

My 5 SILS.
Stacie Rin:

I love this girl so much.
She is so perfect for my brother Kody.
Its pretty crazy when I think about it. They really are made for each other.
I was always so excited for whoever was gonna marry Kody. I knew that who ever it was gonna be, she was gonna be awesome. and she is!
Stacie is so talented. and hardworking. I love her checklists. and that she loves to eat out. and that the t.v. has to be on mute for commercials so we can chat. 2 years ago Kode and Stace and Jon and I were pretty tight. We had Canasta nights and lil caesars pizza like every night. I miss those days. Having our little business did change things. Its sad to say but it did. We stressed each other out. Now things are getting back to normal. and Im so happy for that. We live further away now and have pretty busy schedules but I hope they know how much we love and miss them.

Kristi:

Kristi is super mom.
She has 5 of the cutest lil kiddos ever and is adding #6 in a few weeks.
She knows everything about boys and being a boy-momma. Whenever I have questions. She is always there. I can't believe how different it was to be pregnant and have a lil one to take care of. Its tough! Being a pregnant Momma is a lot of work. But Kristi has done it over and over and loves it!
Its been strange to not have her and her brood around. I miss them. I think about them daily.
Kristi, You are amazing! I hope things are going so great! I cant wait to meet lil' sister Strongo. I know You just had all the boys stay at your place, but now its the girls turn! Lets plan something soon. Love you and your Crew!

Andi:

Andi does it all!
Cooks, bakes, writes, decorates, plays piano, works out, and is the cutest mom to the cutest baby girl ever. I look up to her in so many ways. especially her wall paper selecting skills.
Andi is so fun. and is always planning the party. I love it! and her.
Andi Thanks for all you do. I want to do more. Like our reupholster day. and I need to get that recipe for scones.

Cami:

Cami is on the go but is so put together!
She, her husband Tyler and two adorable kids have lived in some pretty fun places. and have done some super fun things. and she looks so good! I want to come down and go to your spin Class Cam! Now that theres no more baby in my belly. Kick my butt back in Shape K! and I'm pumped for running! Thanks for being such a hotty! and cute momma. We miss you guys!

Sam:

Sam is hilarious! and so laid back and one of my favorite people.
She is such a patient mom to her two darling boys
and I love that she is so in love with her Mikey.
She is hard working and awesome and deserves a massage. Lets get Massages Sam!

So these Ladies are all pretty amazing.
I have learned a ton from them.
and continue to.
The past few months I have felt so strange about being a mom of two and not knowing what im doing. and keeping myself together. like managing the housework, making meals, having fun activities for Max, and making sure I take a shower and wear a bra. These should be simple things. but I struggle.
But then I think about how I am not the only women experiences these things. I am not the only Mom who is working on potty training, or who is nursing, and im probably not the only one who hasnt showered today. even though I look like the only one who hasnt.

I know Sister Hinkley was talking about Relief Society and Sisterhood in the gospel. I love that. Its so true how we are a strength to one another.
and even though these girlies arent my sisters...they are...and they help me a ton too.

I am so thankful for sisterhood. Even though I dont see you guys as often as id like, you help me make it through the day.
You are all such great examples of strong, hot, talented, spiritual, mothers, wives, and sisters. Thanks and love you guys!
