is getting so big.
Today we went to a birthday party.
he played his lil heart out.
walked the plank,
slid on the slide,
chased the kids,
ate cake and goodies.
He took a great nap.
Played the tractor game on the computer.
Put together two puzzles.
Ate craisins. and other less healthy items.
He really loves Fillmore the bus.
he'll ask me to find this picture just so he can look at it.

and he loves Mack.
When we are driving and he sees a big rig he yells Mack Attack!
Last night when I was singing songs for him to fall asleep, he kept asking for Jolly of Dad.
I had no idea what he was saying.
He said, "Mom, please just think about it...Jolly of Dad."
I thought and I thought.and after several frustrating minutes I got Jon and asked what Jolly of Dad was. Then it hit me...
Child of God.
He has never asked me to sing that song before.
It was so sweet.
I was very happy to sing it.
I love my Little Max so much.
He is growing up so quickly.
and is the best big brother a lil Rocko could ask for.

I sometimes get excited thinking about being done with potty training, and naptimes, and all the exhausting activities that little ones require.
But really I need to enjoy these simple years.
Soon they will be behind us and be nothing but memories.
very happy memories.

Too true, I have to remind myself to enjoy and stay in the moment with my kids, instead of reviewing the lists of "must-do items" in my head. Kids are so fun, endearing, and adorable when I focus on being "with them" and not worry about all the other things I am suppose to juggle I am happier and more productive anyways.
