Well Howdy 2011

Good Gracious having a private blog is lame.

I thought that maybe it was the smart thing to do since I am trying to promote my music more and didnt want my whole fam to be on display to strangers...not that I really am gonna have a ton of people looking me up or anything...just
silliness.

Hopefully i will be better at this.

K.
CHRISTMAS WAS MAGIC!
The boys were spoiled beyond belief.

Jon and Santa built a sweet toy storage shelf.
and Max got his thinking chair.

Dad got a really handy dandy Drill.
and Mom got a new camera to capture all the happy.

Lace Kyle Ed and Cheryl came out for the morning extravaganza and then Later we headed up the hill to the Butlers.

New Years Eve was fun too.
We played games and ate way to much food at Ben and Michele's House.
They are fun. WE really have a fun fam.
Max and Abby play so good. and ROcko is just crazy. He is really into everything lately and loves to chase and tickle.
I cant believe how big they are getting.

On New Years Day, Dad and Cheryl took us to see the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas. AMAZING! these guys are so talented and we loved it.
ED and Cheryl are the coolest. Thank you guys so much for a great day.

Lately we have been playing a lot at the tumbleweed park.
its a super cool abandoned park next to Sand Hollow Reservoir.
Matix is loving Joyschool. and is glad to be back on a schedule.
and so is Jon.
I have been doing a lot of music stuff still.
I played a really fun show last weekend and loved it so much.
I mostly loved it cuz of the friends who came. it was such a cool crowd.
Kate B. came into town and I was able to play the song I wrote for her. even though I forgot to tell her it was her song...it was. Kate I am recording next weekend at a real studio and will send you the first copy!
I also loved playing with my sister Lacey and brother Kyle.
It was the first time that Kyle had played his drums in front of people and he did fantastic.
And Lacey has been in China and i really missed singing with her. SHe is lovely and talented and Im lucky she wants to play with me.
Jordan Paul also played with us and he was awesome as Usual.
KODY! next time you will join in...even for just a song.
yep, lots of fun.

2011 is going to be awesome.
did you know?
Jon Graduates this year. YAY!! [then on to grad school]
Max will be 4 and starts preschool. and gets to see Cars 2.
Rocko will be 2. and will probably say words and play real nice with his brother.
and I hopefully will sing more songs.
its gonna be fun.

so I skipped over a new years Resolution post.
but remember this?

I did Okay...
I did finish the Book of Mormon. and felt great about it and think I should probably every year. [next time a little more prayerfully]

I did return to Rock. Having a band has made me much happier and its silly but I think it has really helped our little family. Its my me outlet and I am so lucky to have a Jon Butler who is so supportive...Thank you Sweet Man.

Running....nope. Someday I will be a runner. but right now I am a chaser. I chase after my dudes and that enough.

NO real Resolutions for 2011. Just to live in the now. Dont worry so much about stuff. Just let it ride...easy down the road...

Thanks for the updates. They totally made me smile, Lou. :) I laughed out loud when you said private blogs are lame. You're kind of right. Since mine is private, I don't know how many friends would remember to check even if I DID finally update. I always enjoy reading your blog, but forgot to check it regularly when you went private. Google Reader is my friend and lets me know when my cool friends, Kate, Lyndy Lou, and Sarah have updated. So hooray for blogs that keep us all connected as SCHS and DSC pals! And hooray for a new year with new goals, rock stars, and cozy cones. Love them all.
