Its official.
Matix is no longer a baby.
He's our big boy!

I miss his long hair already. We cut it New years day and will keep it a tradition to have a new doo for the new year. But Im sad its not strawberry blonde anymore.

Here are some things you have been up to this first year of your life:

-You make everything into a car and push it around the house making vvroom noises.
-You really enjoy pushing buttons. Cellphone, remote control, DVD player, Computer keys and Wii buttons are all really exciting for you to push.
-You love to Dance and Sing. Whenever you hear music, you wiggle and shake. and when Momma sings you to sleep, you sing along.
-You love your Dad! Whenever he walks in the room you are ready to play!
-You have grown 9 teeth and #10 is on its way.
-You drink for a cup really well.
-You are so great at making messes. Ravioli messes are your favorite.
-You can stand all by yourself and are almost taking steps.
-You growl when you want more food.
-You love your puppy Pal.
-You can Wash, Wash, Wash, Clap Yay!!!, Blow spit kisses, wave and give Hi-5's.
-You can say Momma, Dad, and Vroom.
-You chipmunk all your food into one cheek and save it there all day.
-You play with your hair when you are sleepy.
-You point at everything.
-You are our AMAZING MAX, and we Love you so much!

Really can't believe that it has been a year. It makes me kinda sad to think about my baby not being a baby, He really has grown into such a handsome little boy. I am so blessed to have Max. He has such a happy disposition and reminds me everyday about what this life is all about.

Max has a mouth full of Teeth. He has never shown any real discomfort to the teeth growing process until now. We are thinking the first set of molars are on their way and it is no fun. I miss my happy guy.

So Holy Cow April has been CRAZY! but very productive.

Max has been Growin' and Growlin'...He is our little dinosaur. He has been such a trooper this last week. Grandma and Lacey have watched him while Stace and I work in the day. We are almost done and then I'll get to be a momma again....I miss him so much! We are so ready for Talent Sprouts to be done!

Here he is hanging out in the back of the escape...He is so good. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have y guys.
Talent Sprouts is almost Complete! This next week we will be finishing week and Final inspection and move in! YAY!!
Construction has been quite the experience.

The boys were great! They did the concrete, framed, painted, and the floors...

The girls Insulated, painted, and took far too many trips to Home Depot where nobody knows what they are talking about...except the door lady who was way too intense and a little scary...

Painting was an ordeal...we went way over our paint budget...but it looks great and its done!

So this last weekend was the What Women Want Expo! It was a great Success for Us. We made some great contacts and our summer program is filling up fast!

Stacie, Kody, and Jonno. I love you guys so much! You have done amazing things the last fews weeks and we are almost there!

Just sent my hair to locks of love. and I really like the new doo. I, like Kara, swore I wouldn't be a short haired momma but here I am with no more hair.


Max is my best little partner. We've been running all over town running random errands and he is such a champ. He is my Joy. and I am so thankful to be able to spend all my day with him.

While out to dinner with Kode and stace and Ed and Cheryl, a lady pointed to Matix and shouted, "Look at that baby's face!!" The face he was making was really funny but we thought it was wierd that a lady would point and shout at him...

First Christmas

I am really looking forward to Christmas. Even though Matix is only a few months old, Santa will be bringing him some pretty awesome things. Jon and I are having so much fun. This season has been really different for me. I am not working and I have been able to spend a lot of time with my little guy. This year is special. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family surrounding us. I am so thankful for your examples and support. I love you guys! I wish you all a very Merry, Happy Holiday!

Aug 28. 2007 - This day he came and my world was brighter! What an amazing experience it is to be a momma. I love it all. Everytime his diaper is off he pees on the wall and his girgley giggle kills me. I am feeling less like a zombie cuz now we get 5 hours of sleep...IN A ROW! YES! I am so blessed to have my boys. Jon is the greatest dad and I love him more and more everyday. I love that Matix hates "Hiccups" and "The Clam" on his aquarium mobile, he stares at it in disgust. He loves to eat his hand and to be tickled on his chins, especially by his daddy's whiskers. He really is a serious kinda guy. He always has a thinking face like he's trying to figure out what makes this world tick. Somedays, you really gotta work for a smile and when you earn one its the happiest treat. Other days, he wears a smile from ear to ear all day long (even in his sleep). Boy-oh-boy, life is good!
