Matix Monday!

I have been bad at keepin' the blog up. I used to be good at documenting my Matix mondays, the truth is I really haven't made my Mondays off with Max that fun. Its my only day off in the week and I usually spend it doing the laundry and taking a really good shower in which I can actually shave both of my legs. Today I have decided to rededicate mondays to Max. The laundry will always be there...and my little guy is growing up too fast. For the first part of the morning I did the usual chores then we...

Walked to the grub-shak and shared a slice of pizza (it cost 1.25 and I happen to find that in change this morning)
Then we went to the park and got to walk through the tubies and go down the slides.
Then we came home for a really great bath and Max splashed his little heart out!
Now it is Nap-time! and Blog-time.

Today as I walked to the park through my ghetto neighborhood, I reflected on what the prophet said yesterday. I have been guilty of dreaming about tomorrow and not truly living today. I am so happy to be where I am with my boys. They are my joy on this journey. I am especially lucky to have Matix Monday's!

I'm with ya'. Little McKenna has started pulling on me to play- that's when I know I've become to caught up in accomplishing tasks instead of spending enough time playing with her.

Hey! I found your blog. What a great idea to dedicate a day of the week to your kid. I can totally agree with you about being guilty of living for tomorrow. I felt like that was what conference was trying to tell me this time around. We need to enjoy today. Our little ones are growing up huh? Glad I found you. Love the blog! -Telsha
